Lora M. Robins Speaker Series is a community-wide, multi-part interactive speaker series that offers business, public, and nonprofit leaders valuable insights and practical knowledge from leading national and regional thought leaders.

LMR Spring Luncheon

April 21, 2020
This annual event celebrates the LMR network, leaders who are the pulse of our region. Over 200 graduates and guests attend with invitations reaching 2,000. The event features a keynote speaker and honors the recipients of the Ukrop Community Vision Award and the Servant Leader Award.

Coaches RVA

Coaches RVA is a collaborative project with Partnership for the Future. LMR alumni serve as volunteer coaches to high potential students from challenging circumstances, providing guidance throughout their college experience. The program is designed to ensure student success and ultimate graduation from college. Coaching in a college environment provides role modeling for professional leadership and facilitates the development of competencies and stronger interpersonal skills.

Leading Conversations: Best Practices in Facilitation

February 7 & 21, 2020 and March 6, 2020
In partnership with the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, LMR hosts a training for community leaders to learn and practice how to facilitate small group conversations.
